We currently have the following positions open:
To qualify as a Caregiver, an individual:
- Must be at least 18 years old;
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow directions in English;
- Must have experience in caring for the population to be served.
- May not be cited on the Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistants Registry or any other registries with a determination of abuse, misappropriation of resident property, or neglect.
- Must be currently certified by an organization by the Maryland Board of Nursing in the following areas: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Basic First aid.
- Must submit to a criminal background investigation for which the agency or applicant shall:

Submit an application for a criminal history record check to the Criminal Justice Information System Office, Department of Safety and Correctional Services,
-
Direct the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services to send the criminal history report to the department, and
-
Pay for the criminal history record check and report;

May not have been convicted of, received a probation before judgment for, or entered into a plea of nolo contend ere to a felony or any crime involving moral turpitude or theft, or have any other criminal history that indicates behavior which is potentially harmful to patients.
- Must satisfy the following health requirements:
- Annual TB testing - submit a recent copy of TB results.
- Offering of the Hepatitis B vaccine (signed letter of acceptance/declination must be kept on file).
- Have Annual Physicals done within the first 3 months of employment.
- Free from communicable diseases.
- Be well groomed and presentable
- Have excellent oral hygiene at all times.

To qualify as a Nurse Monitor, an individual:
- Must be a Registered Nurse and have satisfied all the requirements of the Maryland Board of Nursing and the Nurse Practice Act regarding nursing services and delegation of nursing functions.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- Must have satisfied the Cardiopulmonary resuscitation [CPR] and Basic First Aid requirements
- Must have excellent organizational, managerial and communication skills.
- Must have demonstrated experience in providing nursing services to older adults, young adults and/or children with physical or mental disabilities.
- Must have specialized training and experience in caring for the population to be served.
- Shall be able to provide the required nursing supervision services
- Shall be available to give instructions and answer questions during a normal working day on medically related issues within the scope of the nurse’s license.
- Must be able to maintain detailed, written documentation of services rendered.
- Be well groomed and presentable.
- Must satisfy the following health requirements:
